Inspired by Psalm 23
Verse 1
The Lord, He is my Shepherd, I shall not stray, He meets my needs in every single way
He leads me where the waters are still and calm, Lays down my weary soul and shelters me from harm.
When the battles of this world leave me weak inside He restores my strength, gives me back my stride.

He is the Good Shepherd, a strong and guiding hand
He walks before me on this shifting sand.
Through the shadow and the valley, I will stand my ground
For His rod and staff, they comfort me, they keep me safe and sound.
My Shepherd is with me, and I will not fear,
His presence is my refuge, every day of the year.
Verse 2
He guides my steps in paths of righteousness and light, He leads me onward, faithful day and night.
He does this for His Name’s sake, a Name that will not fail,
A Rock to stand upon when storms and darkness hail.
My enemies watch as a table is set, A provision in the conflict, a love I can’t forget.

The wilderness is fading, the shadows will depart, You are the living water that refreshes my dry heart.

You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows with grace,
My Father’s kindness meets me in this place.
Surely goodness and Your mercy will follow after me, All the days of my life, until eternity.
And I will dwell within the House of the Lord, Forever at His side, my life restored.
