A shorter show, and unfortunately it’s just me, Shaun for this one.

SEASON 1, EPISODE 2.

David is tied up at work with a heavy finish to the year before he moves on to a new adventure working for another organisation as well as his own business (https://www.daparkinson-consulting.co.uk/) so we haven’t been able to get together to record a show as we had hoped so, instead we take a look at Bethlehem and how its place in the story of redemption was written long ago. A SPECIAL CHRISTMAS BLESSING

Almighty and everlasting God,
who in the silence of a Bethlehem night
sent your true Light into the world;
we thank you for the breadcrumbs of prophecy,
scattered from the days of old,
that led a waiting people to the manger.

As the Magi followed the star,
grant that we, your people,
may trace your faithfulness through the shadows of this age,
finding in the Child of Bethlehem
the Messiah who is Christ the Lord.

In a world that walks in darkness,
make us bearers of the great joy announced to the shepherds.
Where there is despair, let us bring hope;
where there is loneliness, the assurance of your Emmanuel presence.
May the mystery of the Word made flesh
shatter our darkness and guide our feet into the way of peace.

Bless, we pray, all who listen,
and keep them in the wonder of this holy season.
May the hope of Christmas, the certainty of your coming,
and the promise of your everlasting kingdom
fill their hearts and homes with true and lasting joy.

And the blessing of God Almighty,
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
be upon us and remain with us, and all those we love,
this Christmastide and evermore.
Amen.

From us here at Titus One Nine, we wish you all a very Blessed and Merry Christmas
